Scott Michael Askew (77) of Walters, Oklahoma, passed away on November 17, 2023.

Scott was born to Scott R. And Thelma L. Askew on November 28, 1945, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He graduated from Berryhill High School and joined the U.S. Navy, where he served on the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln. After leaving the Navy, he attended and graduated from Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma, and went on to work for various computer companies until his retirement. 

Scott was an avid OU fan and a Route 66 aficionado, who loved his church families at both First Baptist East in Lawton and First Baptist Walters.

Scott is survived by his three children, Leslie (and spouse), Rebekah, and Josh (and spouse); his brother, Danny, and sister, Mary, and six grandchildren: Forrest, Hunter, Easton, Sage, Evelyn, and Samuel.
